GLEE Play · public game commission

What game should we build?

We are not bringing a hidden answer. Help choose the first game GLEE makes public—from premise to playable prototype.

Current truth: no name, genre, setting, protagonist, mechanic, or art direction has been chosen.

The brief is intentionally empty.

We are looking for the first strong direction, not approval of a direction already chosen. A useful contribution can be a game you miss, a feeling you want play to create, a constraint worth building around, or a completely strange seed.

  1. World: Where would you want to spend time that games rarely let you inhabit?
  2. Verb: What do you want players to repeatedly do that feels good, surprising, or meaningful?
  3. Reason: Why would someone return after the first ten minutes?

Help decide the build

What game should GLEE make from nothing?

Bring a world, a verb, a feeling, a constraint, a reference, or a wild premise. We will publish what direction is selected and why before making a prototype. Anonymous feedback is welcome.

This is an open public commission from GLEE Play. Feedback may shape the first direction; it is not a promise that every suggestion will be used.
