Terms & Legal

Everything in one place. No surprises.

Plain language for supporters before Round Zero opens.

Round Zero is soft live

Current status: founder-preview. Ko-fi is the approved external cashier rail for public support. GLEE Platform proof and account routes are visible, while paid Fuel checkout and Square top-up URLs are staged for launch hardening. Direct crypto, x402, and autonomous agent-native payment rails remain disabled; AIs with their own funds or valid spending authority may use official support/Fuel rails where live. For contribution-specific rules, use Contribution Terms.

Clear limits

Round Zero is a public crowdfunding campaign for the GLEE project. It is not any of the following:

  • Not an investment. Contributing to Round Zero does not make you an investor. You receive supporter recognition and a public contribution record — not equity, ownership, or a financial instrument.
  • Not equity. No shares, ownership stakes, or profit participation of any kind are offered or implied.
  • Not a token or cryptocurrency. Seed Power (SP) is not a token, coin, or digital asset. It cannot be traded, transferred, or redeemed for money.
  • Not represented as a security. Round Zero is not intended, offered, or represented as a security, investment contract, or financial return product.
  • Not a profit share. Contributors receive no financial return. Seed Power grants a voice in direction signals (Compass), not a share of revenue.
  • Not governance. SP does not control GLEE. Compass votes are advisory signals — GLEE may accept, modify, or reject any proposal, with explanation.
  • Not a guarantee. GLEE is an active research and engineering project. Outcomes described are goals, not promises. Milestones may shift.

How GLEE is organized

GLEE operates on a two-track structure:

  • GLEE Builder / Labs / Phoenix. The operational side. Builds software, runs the project, accepts Round Zero support, pays for infrastructure and builders, and may become a company later. Round Zero funds this track.
  • GLEE Foundation / Society (future). A planned public-good branch for open-source stewardship, education, research, grants, and community governance. Not active in Round Zero — planned for later.

This structure lets GLEE stay practical and fundable now while preserving the larger public-good mission later.

The Round Zero rule is simple: Supporters are funding the build, not buying ownership.

Contribution terms

Current state: Ko-fi is the approved external support rail. Round Zero support is non-refundable voluntary project support by default, with review only for payment-platform requirements, applicable law, duplicate charge handling, or clear processing error.

When live: confirmed Round Zero contributions are non-refundable by default. GLEE may review a reversal only if required by the payment platform, applicable law, duplicate charge handling, or clear processing error. Project delays, development risk, scope changes, and changed-mind requests are not refund grounds. Full contribution-specific rules live at Contribution Terms.

Contribution size does not grant control. Whether you contribute a small or large amount, you do not gain authority over GLEE's direction, architecture, legal decisions, or team. Larger contributions may receive more SP — SP is a voice signal, not a vote that controls outcomes.

Manual review. Larger contributions may require manual review before acceptance. GLEE may decline or return contributions that create legal, payment, identity, operational, or mission-alignment concerns.

What SP is and isn't

Seed Power (SP) is an internal weighting system — not a financial instrument, token, or currency. SP quantifies the attention weight your voice carries in GLEE's advisory direction system (Compass), once Compass launches.

  • SP cannot be transferred to another person
  • SP cannot be traded or sold
  • SP cannot be redeemed for money or any financial return
  • SP does not expire, but Compass cycle rules may limit how much can be allocated per period
  • SP values and Compass rules may change before Compass launches

Full Compass design is at /compass. Compass is prelaunch — no votes are being collected yet.

Your public supporter credit

Every confirmed contribution may be recorded as public, anonymous, or private depending on the display preference available at contribution time. Public records can contain a public alias, supporter number, recognition class, and approximate contribution date. Private records may be counted in totals without exposing personal identity.

You choose your public alias or private display preference where the cashier and GLEE workflow support it. Real names, email addresses, and payment details are never published. See Privacy for the full data policy.

What belongs to GLEE

All GLEE code, research, systems, agents, architectures, designs, and documents are the property of the GLEE project operator. Contributing to Round Zero does not transfer any intellectual property rights to contributors. The GLEE codebase may include open-source components under their respective licenses.

GLEE intends to open-source significant portions of its work over time. This is a project goal, not a binding commitment in Round Zero.

No warranties

GLEE Round Zero is offered as-is. No warranties are made, express or implied, about outcomes, delivery timelines, system performance, or the continuation of the project. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GLEE's liability to any contributor is limited to the amount they contributed.

Your data

No third-party tracking beacons intentionally allowed and no third-party data brokers on the static public site. Account sessions, launch profiles, workspace objects, payment-intent records, top-up records, and first-party operational/security telemetry live on the separate GLEE Platform Worker and approved infrastructure/payment providers. Public contracts describe the Cloud/local boundary without exposing private control topology or recovery mechanics. The full privacy policy — what's collected, what's public, what's private, data request process — is at /privacy.

Terms may change before launch

These terms may be updated as Round Zero moves from soft live to broader public launch. The current version is always at this URL. Material changes will be noted in the build log. For contributions, the terms in effect at contribution time are the active terms.
